Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of coordinated invasions across the central and northwestern West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Sunday evening and night, targeting Palestinian towns with abductions, road closures, and military harassment.
The incursions disrupted daily life, restricted movement, and escalated pressure on residents through intimidation and collective punishment.
Israeli occupation forces abducted Palestinian child Mohammad Rabih Khatatbeh while storming the village of Beit Furiq, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Also in Beit Furiq, Israeli occupation forces detained Palestinian Rabih Allan Khatatbeh after storming his home.
Israeli troops invading Nablus Sunday night:
In the central West Bank’s Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, Israeli forces invaded the village of Aboud, raided several homes, and abducted a young man amid a heavy deployment of military vehicles.
Simultaneously, the main entrance to the town of Sinjil was sealed off, forcing residents to use dirt roads to reach their homes.
Military roadblocks were also erected near Turmus Ayya, where soldiers stopped vehicles and inspected passengers’ IDs.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the village of Nabi Saleh and raided several shops. In nearby Umm Safa, the invasion began at midday and continued into the evening, with occupation forces detaining and interrogating young men in the streets, storming commercial establishments, and imposing severe movement restrictions that disrupted daily life.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the town of ar-Ram, triggering protests before they fired stun grenades and toxic tear gas, intensifying the atmosphere of repression in the area.
East of Bethlehem, occupation forces invaded the towns of al-‘Obeidiyya and Dar Salah, distributing flyers that threatened Palestinian workers with punishment if they attempted to reach their workplaces in Jerusalem or inside the 1948 territories. The flyers were posted on walls and utility poles and scattered in the streets.
In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the towns of ‘Allar and Seida in Tulkarem Governorate.
Military vehicles roamed the streets and neighborhoods, obstructed traffic, and searched several vehicles.
Soldiers used loudspeakers to harass residents, and the invasion lasted for hours before the forces withdrew without making arrests.
These invasions reflect a broader Israeli policy of collective punishment and territorial control, targeting Palestinian communities with military force, movement restrictions, and psychological intimidation.
In related news, Israeli forces demolished the two-story home of Palestinian detainee Maher Zuhair Samara in the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank, on Sunday.
