Israeli soldiers completely isolated, on Sunday at dawn, all villages and towns north and northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, after the army alleged a Palestinian car attempted to ram soldiers on Saturday evening.
The soldiers surrounded many villages and towns, especially ‘Aboud, Nabi Saleh, Um Safa, Deir Abu Mashal, Deir Nitham, Ein Siniya, ‘Atara and al-Jalazoun, stopped and searched hundreds of cars and examined the ID cards of the passengers while interrogating many of them.
The Israeli army claimed that a Palestinian car attempted to ram several soldiers, close to Benjamin colony, between Ramallah and Nablus.
The alleged attack led to no injuries, while the soldiers fired many live rounds, but the car managed to drive away.
