Israeli soldiers invaded, late at night Sunday, the village of Barta’a, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and Jenin city, kidnapped one Palestinian, and injured several others.
Several army vehicles invaded Barta’a village, southwest of Jenin, searched a few homes and clashed with many locals, who hurled stones and empty bottles on the military jeeps.
The soldiers fired several gas bombs, rubber-coated metal bullets and live rounds, causing many residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Media sources in Jenin said the soldiers also kidnapped a former political prisoner, identified as Mohammad Naseef Ghawadri, 36, after invading and searching his home in the Eastern Neighborhood.
