A few hours after withdrawing and following a 4-day siege and invasion, Israeli soldiers invaded the city of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank and surrounded two hospitals.

The soldiers surrounded the Al-Israa Specialist Hospital and the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital, stopping and searching ambulances, and interrogating their crews.

The soldiers deployed their vehicles in various areas of Tulkarem, especially around hospitals and main intersections, to search cars and ambulances, and attempt to find and abduct wounded residents.

They also ordered all stores to close and started forcing the Palestinians out of the streets and alleys.

The army withdrew this morning, Thursday, from the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp after a massive invasion, extensive destruction, and bulldozing of infrastructure and damage to citizens’ properties.

The army’s aggression and siege on Tulkarem city and its refugee camp lasted 4 days, during which the army caused serious damage and fire in several homes in the Al-Sawalma neighborhood.

Many streets in the Tulkarem camp and city witnessed extensive bulldozing, in addition to serious infrastructure and private property destruction.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes, interrogating scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Earlier Thursday dawn, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a Palestinian car in Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, killing six young men and seriously wounding one.
