Israeli occupation forces seized four Palestinian homes in the town of Tell, southwest of Nablus in the occupied West bank’s northern part, on Thursday and converted them into military posts, as illegal paramilitary colonizer groups called for a large incursion into the town on Friday.
Local sources said the army took over the home of Arab Ramadan in the al‑Hawouz area and the storage facilities of Abdul‑Salam Shtayyeh in al‑Qabala area, in addition to the home of Bassel Marouf Hindi on the Surra road and the house of Abu Ali Shahada near the Bir al‑Ghazzal junction. All four locations were turned into military positions to secure colonizer movement.
Occupation forces also closed the road adjacent to the Yitzhar illegal colony, built on Burin’s lands south of Nablus, blocking vehicle access until Friday evening to facilitate provocative colonizer marches planned in the area.
Colonizer groups have called for an organized incursion into Tell’s lands on Friday, claiming they intend to retrace the steps of a colonizer killed there last week. They are preparing a guided field tour under the supervision of settlement organizations.
These developments follow last Friday’s colonizer attack on Tell, which resulted in the killing of four Palestinian youths, including two brothers, and two colonizers. The confrontation erupted after Farouq Ramadan managed to seize a colonizer’s weapon and open fire before being killed by colonizers and Israeli soldiers.
Across the broader Nablus district, colonizer groups have intensified coordinated assaults under direct military protection.
In Burin, joint army‑colonizer incursions have repeatedly targeted Palestinian homes, factories, and agricultural lands, with soldiers firing tear‑gas and stun grenades to secure colonizer access. Residents confronted these attacks amid warnings of further escalation.
