After midnight Saturday/Sunday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child and bombed a home, in another invasion of the Balata camp, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank .
Media sources said that occupation soldiers invaded the camp for the fourth time in less that twelve hours, besieged a home in the camp.
Sources added that soldiers besieged a home in the camp, and opened fire with live rounds towards citizens, shooting a Palestinian child.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that their ambulance crews transported a 17-year-old to hospital after occupation forces shot him with live ammunition.
The PRCS added that the army opened fire towards ambulances and obstructed their movement while they were transporting injured citizens.
After besieging a citizen’s home in the camp, occupation forces fired at least one “Energa” anti-tank rifle grenade into the home; no injuries were reported.
After storming the camp for the fourth consecutive time in under 12 hours, reinforcements, including a bulldozer arrived and destroyed parts of the Al-Araishi Mall in the camp.
In related news, an Israeli drone strike killed the child, Luay Mohammad Mesheh, 17, and injured many others on Saturday afternoon, after a drone strike targeted a group of citizens in the Balata camp.
Soldiers withdrew from the camp and re-invaded after one hour, deployed sharpshooters on tall buildings, shooting a young man with a live round in the arm; he was transported to a hospital in Nablus.
Later, Israeli forces killed the young man, Ali Bassam Hashash, 24, after shooting him in the chest with live ammunition, and injured twenty-two others in the Balata camp.
Israeli forces have now killed 591 Palestinians, including 143 children in various parts of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
