On Friday night, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child in the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank. The army also detained dozens of Palestinians in the Ramallah governorate, in the central West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and opened fire with live rounds, shooting a 17-year-old child in the leg with live ammunition; his condition was not known at the time of this report.
The same sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, southwest of the city, and positioned soldiers in the gate area, before storming the nearby Deheishe refugee camp.
Meanwhile, further south, the army stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, on Friday night, sparking protests from local Palestinian youths.
Media sources said that Israeli forces positioned units in the Sahla Eid and Al-Muthallath areas, while local citizens confronted the invading army in the Al-Deiriyah area in Beit Fajjar town.
The sources added that soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and flares; there were no reports of arrests or injuries.
Furthermore, Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinian young men on Friday night, at the entrance of the village of Ras Karkar village, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces erected a flying military roadblock at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, stopped citizens’ vehicles, forced dozens of citizens out of their vehicles, before detaining them and lining them up along the road.

The sources added that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters in the area and obstructed the movement of Palestinians attempting to enter or exit the village; no arrests or injuries were reported.
Moreover, the army invaded the town of Kifl Hares, north of Salfit in the central West Bank, late Friday night.
Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed Kifl Hares town, detained several Palestinian citizens and subjected them to interrogation; no arrests were reported.
Earlier on Friday, occupation forces stormed the city of Tubas and the town of Tammun, and the Al-Far’a refugee camp, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that the army invaded Tubas city, the town of Tammun, and the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, on Friday evening.
He added that the army deployed infantry units in the areas before withdrawing, without making arrests.
