On Thursday, Israeli forces shot five Palestinians, including four children in the governorates of Jenin and Hebron in the northern and southern parts of the occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces shot three Palestinian children, on Thursday, while securing a settler incursion into the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Media sources reported that a large army force stormed the Bab al-Zawiya area and Beersheba Street in the city center, sealed off the area, and forced shop owners to close their shops in order to maintain the security of large groups of settlers storming an archaeological site.
The sources added that the soldiers opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, shooting three children (14 – 16) in the leg with live ammunition; they were transported to the Hebron Governmental Hospital in moderate condition. A number of citizens were reported to have suffered inhalation from tear gas inhalation.
Meanwhile, in the northern West Bank, occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man and a child in the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported two citizens to the hospital, including a young man who was shot in the leg with live ammunition, and a child who sustained a shrapnel wound.
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded the town of Ya’bad on Thursday evening, deployed infantry units in the streets, fired live rounds and smoke grenades, and converted a citizen’s home into a military barracks.
In related news, the army pushed more military reinforcements towards the Jenin refugee camp with several armored vehicles.
The Israeli occupation has maintained a tight siege on the the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp since January of 2025.
