Israeli forces shot a Palestinian worker, on Tuesday, near Tulkarem, abducted two young men in the city of Tulkarem, and two more in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Media soirces said that occupation forces shot a 67-year-old Palestinian worker, on Tuesday afternoon, while he was near the Apartheid and Annexation Wall, south of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to Raed Yassin, the Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Tulkarem, their ambulance crews received a call about a 67-year-old worker who sustained a gunshot wound.

Yassin added that the injured worker, a citizen of Nablus, was picked up at the Jabara military roadblock and transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem.

Meanwhile, at dawn Tuesday, occupation forces abducted two Palestinian young men in the Tulkarem governorate, after invading and searching their homes.

Media sources said that Israeli forces stormed and searched the home of the citizen, Hassan Mustafa Amer in the town of Illar, northeast of Tulkarem, before abducting him.

Sources added that occupation soldiers abducted the young man, Mohammad Salim Amer, after invading and searching his house in the town of Anabta, east of the city.

Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted two Palestinian young men in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded and searched the homes of the two citizens, Ghassan Jibril and Saleh Nazzal, before abducting them in the city of Qalqilia.

Sources added that military forces invaded the towns of Habla and Ras Atiya, south of the city, positioned sharpshooters on rooftops, and stormed several citizens’ homes.


The army obstructed citizens’ movement when they erected a flying military roadblock between the two villages, stopping citizens’ vehicles and inspecting their ID cards.

In related news, Israeli forces killed, at dawn Tuesday, the young man, Moataz Mohammed Omar Sarsour, 19, after shooting him in the chest with live ammunition, and critically injuring him, in addition to shooting three others, in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Also on Tuesday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian with live rounds, and abducted four young men, including a former prisoner, in the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.
