Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man with live rounds in the city of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, assaulted another in the village of Raba, southeast of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot a young man with live ammunition, on Friday evening, while he was in the Al-Marj area of Qalqilia city, adding that he was transported to the Qalqilia Hospital for medical intervention.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces wounded a 25-year-old Palestinian man in the village of Raba, southeast of Jenin, after brutally assaulting him.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers severely assaulted an unidentified young man in Raba village on Friday evening.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 25-year-old man to the hospital after he sustained fractures as a result of the violent attack.

Furthermore, the army invaded the northern West Bank town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus, on Friday evening, and injured several Palestinian citizens.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed Beit Furik town on Friday evening, opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, resulting in a number of citizens suffering inhalation injuries.

Moreover, the army invaded the city of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, on Friday evening, sparking protests among local Palestinians.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded Tubas city on Friday evening, deployed infantry units in several neighborhoods, while Palestinians resisted the incursion; no arrests or injuries were reported.

In related news, Israeli forces detained many Palestinian citizens at dawn Friday, after invading the town of Burqin, west of Jenin.

Media sources said that a large army force stormed Burqin town at dawn Friday, closed its entrances, and proceeded to break into several citizens’ homes.

The sources added that soldiers detained many Palestinians and subjected the to interrogation, before releasing them.
