Israeli forces shot three Palestinian children with live rounds, on Sunday night, after storming the New Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported three children to the hospital after they sustained live gunshot wounds during the military invasion of the Askar al-Jadeed (New Askar) refugee camp.

The PRCS added that a 16-year-old child sustained live gunshot wounds to the hand and abdomen, another 16-year-old sustained live gunshot wounds to the hand, and a 15-year-old sustained live gunshot wounds to the thigh.

The conditions of the injured children were not known at the time of writing this report. Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded the New Askar refugee camp on Sunday night.

Earlier Sunday, occupation forces executed two Palestinian young men, and wounded another, after besieging two homes in the village of Salem, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.


After besieging two homes in the village of Salem, Israeli forces opened heavy fire with live ammunition, killing the young men, Qusay Nasser Mahmoud Nassar, 23, and Wissam Ghassan Hassan Shtayyeh, 37, confiscating the body of the slain Shtayyeh.

In related news, the army invaded the village of Douma, and the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus after midnight on Sunday/Monday.

Quds Press reported that Israeli forces invaded the town of Aqraba before dawn on Monday, in addition to storming the village of Douma and causing serious damage to citizens’ vehicles there.


Palestine TV reported that the army smashed the windows of privately-owned vehicles and confiscated one of them during their incursion into the village of Douma.
