Israeli forces continued violating the “ceasefire” agreement in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, as a Palestinian child died from wounds sustained a day earlier and several other Palestinians were injured in attacks on displaced families and residential areas in Khan Younis and the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli forces carried out airstrikes, artillery shelling, drone attacks, live fire, and demolition operations in areas under Israeli military control. Restrictions on humanitarian aid, commercial goods, and movement also remain in place.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews recovered the body of 14-year-old Suhail Masoud Shallouf south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The child died from wounds sustained after Israeli forces shot him on Saturday in the At-Tina Street area south of the city.
In the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, seven Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced families. Medical sources also reported that three Palestinians were wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on tents housing displaced residents in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi.
Another Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire in a separate incident in Al-Mawasi, where many displaced Palestinians remain sheltered.

In central Gaza, several Palestinians were wounded when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a residential apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Ambulance and emergency crews transferred the injured to Al-Awda Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces abducted three humanitarian aid truck drivers near the Kerem Shalom (Karem Abu Salem) Crossing, southeast of Rafah in southern Gaza. The drivers were identified as Ayad Marish, Zayed Abdul-Al, and Ibrahim Abu Jarad.
Separately, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) participated in a medical evacuation through the Rafah Crossing involving 74 people: 38 patients and 36 companions. Conducted in coordination with the World Health Organization, the operation enabled patients to receive specialized treatment outside the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medical and humanitarian teams provided healthcare and humanitarian assistance to the patients at the organization’s Al-Mawasi Field Hospital before their transfer.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported this week that ongoing shortages of lubricant oil, spare parts, fuel supplies, and operational equipment are severely affecting humanitarian operations.
UNRWA said several services have already been suspended, including operations at more than half of its functioning health centers, while water, sanitation, and emergency shelter services face growing disruptions.
UNRWA also reported that approximately 82 percent of Gaza’s structures have been damaged, with more than 200,000 buildings sustaining some degree of destruction and roughly two-thirds classified as destroyed. The agency noted that reports of demolitions affecting schools and other facilities have continued since the ceasefire took effect.
In its latest humanitarian assessment, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said most Palestinians in Gaza remain displaced, endure harsh living conditions, and face ongoing military attacks.
OCHA further reported that water insecurity continues to worsen across the coastal enclave, while restrictions on essential supplies and rehabilitation materials have deepened the humanitarian crisis.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization warned that thousands of patients in Gaza remain in urgent need of medical evacuation and treatment unavailable in the territory.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza stated that Israeli violations since the “ceasefire” took effect have killed 1,264 Palestinians and injured 4,168, while rescue crews have recovered 804 bodies during the same period.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the genocide began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,393 Palestinians, with 174,280 others injured, underscoring the devastating toll of the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
