Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of attacks across several Palestinian communities near Nablus on Sunday, including an assault on a father and his daughter in the town of Qusra.
The incidents unfolded in open agricultural areas, village roads, and early‑morning streets where residents were beginning their day.
Assault on a Family in Qusra
Residents of Qusra, southeast of Nablus in northern West Bank, said the attack happened on a narrow agricultural road leading into the town.
Mohammad Wadi was driving home with his daughter when a group of colonizers emerged from behind a curve in the road, forcing him to stop.
Witnesses reported seeing the colonizers surrounding the vehicle, banging on its sides, and pulling the doors open.
Wadi and his daughter managed to break free and run toward the terraced fields on the edge of the town.
Neighbors said they could hear the colonizers shouting as they chased the pair across the rocky ground before the two reached a safer area closer to the houses.
The assault came a day after a deadly colonizers’ attack in west of Qusra, where a young man was killed and others were shot and beaten, and three were injured.
Residents described the atmosphere in the town as tense, with families avoiding the outskirts and farmers staying away from their land.
Livestock Theft in Beit Imrin
Before dawn, colonizers entered the northern outskirts of Beit Imrin, moving through an area of olive trees and grazing land still covered in early‑morning fog.
They reached the small livestock enclosure belonging to Hamza Yahya Ayesh Faqih and removed several sheep before retreating toward nearby colonial outposts.
Akram Faqih, head of the village council, said the theft was discovered when the shepherd arrived at the enclosure and found the gate forced open and tracks leading north.
He described the incident as part of a pattern targeting farmers who depend on small herds for their income.
Stone‑Throwing Attacks in Huwwara
In Huwwara, south of Nablus, colonizers targeted Palestinian vehicles at dawn, standing along the roadside and throwing stones at cars traveling toward Nablus.
Drivers said the attack happened suddenly, with stones hitting windshields and roofs as vehicles attempted to pass through the main road.
Several cars were damaged, and shattered glass covered parts of the street. Residents said the attack forced some drivers to turn around and others to wait inside their vehicles until the road cleared.
Shortly afterward, Israeli occupation forces invaded the town, moving between houses and storming a home near the main road. The search added to the tension already created by the colonizer attacks.
Public Transport Bus Targeted
A bus belonging to the Salfit Transportation Company was also struck with stones near Huwwara.
The attack occurred as the bus approached a bend in the road, where colonizers were positioned on higher ground.
Part of the windshield shattered, and passengers moved away from the windows as the driver accelerated to exit the area.
Residents say the repeated targeting of public transport has disrupted daily movement, especially for workers and students who rely on early‑morning buses to reach Nablus.
Colonizers Attack Community in Jerusalem
A group of colonizers invaded the Al-Khan Al-Ahmar Bedouin community, east of occupied Jerusalem, before attacking families in an attempt to displace the community as they did with several communities across the occupied West Bank.
Documented Pattern of Attacks
These incidents represent only a portion of the verified and documented attacks carried out by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers across the occupied West Bank, where assaults on families, farmers, shepherds, and public roads continue on a near‑daily basis.
Before dawn, Sunday, Israeli undercover forces infiltrated the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern area, and opened fire on a Palestinian family’s vehicle, killing the father, mother, and two of their children, and injuring their other two children.
Medical sources said the army killed Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odah, 37, his wife Wa’ed Othman Aqel Bani Odah, 35, and their two children, Mohammad, 5, and Othman, 7. Their other children, Mustafa, 8, and Khaled, 11, were injured by shrapnel in the head and face.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Ali in the head, face, chest, and left arm, and shot his wife Wa’ed in the face and head. Their slain children were also shot in the face and head. They were moved to the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas.
Tammun has faced repeated invasions by Israeli forces in recent months, often involving undercover units, drones, and armored vehicles. Residents say the Bani Odah family was well known in the town and not involved in any armed activity.
In a separate incident during the same invasion, Israeli forces abducted Mahmoud Hasan Bani Odah and his son Hassan after invading their home.
Also Sunday, illegal Israeli colonizers killed a Palestinian young man and wounded others on Saturday, after storming the village of Qusra, south of Nablus in the northern occupied
West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of 28-year-old Amir Mu’tasim Mahmoud Odah, after Israeli settlers shot him with live rounds during confrontations in Qusra village.
On Sunday March 7, three Palestinians, Thaer Farouq Hamayel, 24, and Fares Jawdat Hamayel, 57, were killed after Israeli colonizers shot them both in the head with live ammunition after infiltrating Abu Falah village, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
During the attack, a third citizen Mohammad Hassan Murra, 55, died after arriving to the hospital in cardiac arrest after being exposed to tear gas fired by occupation forces, while three others were shot with live rounds, one in the head, one in the pelvis, and another in the shoulder.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces and settlers have killed 1132 Palestinian citizens, and injured 10,483 in the occupied West Bank, including 232 children and 24 women.
In the Jenin governorate, 310 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 147 in Nablus, 110 in Hebron, 102 in Tubas, 85 in Ramallah, 62 in Jerusalem, 44 in Qalqilia, 36 in Bethlehem, 15 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 8 in Salfit.
