On Wednesday, a group of fanatic paramilitary Israeli colonizers infiltrated Bardala village in the Northern Plains of the occupied West Bank’s Jordan Valley, and attempted to steal cows before the locals intercepted them. Israeli soldiers then invaded the village and abducted two Palestinians who defended their property and livestock.

Motaz Bisharat, a Palestinian official in charge of the Northern Plains file at the Tubas Governorate, stated that the Israeli soldiers abducted two young men, Enad Hasan Raba’ya and Saleh Yousef Khneifis.

He added that the two Palestinians were among several residents who intercepted the invading colonizers and prevented them from stealing livestock owned by a man from the western area of the village.

Following the attacks and abductions, many Palestinians protested, before both the soldiers and the paramilitary colonizers attacked them again.

It is worth mentioning that two weeks ago, a group of colonizers occupied Palestinian lands, installed an outpost and barns, and have since carried out numerous attacks and violations against the Palestinians and their property.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
