The Israeli military continues its offensive on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank for the 35th consecutive day, resulting in 27 fatalities and dozens of injuries.

In an escalation of the offensive, the Israeli military expanded its offensive in the governorate, storming several towns and causing deliberate destruction to infrastructure and streets.

On Sunday, a unit of tanks was deployed to Jenin, invading the city from its western entrance, reaching the vicinity of the Jenin refugee camp and the Jabriyyat area.

The Israeli military also continued its incursion into the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, for the second consecutive day.

The town was placed under a 48-hour curfew, while bulldozers destroyed infrastructure, including water and electricity lines, while also demolishing streets and citizens’ properties.

Several homes were seized and turned into military barracks; the Israeli military also abducted numerous citizens, some of whom remain unidentified.

The military reinforcements, accompanied by bulldozers, continued to storm Qabatiya.

In the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, streets were bulldozed, snipers and infantry teams were deployed, and homes were raided and interrogated. The Israeli military also stormed the town of Silat al-Harithiya, forcing citizens to close their shops.

Early this morning, the military entered the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, causing widespread destruction to streets and infrastructure, particularly around the Al-Abbara roundabout.

On Saturday, homes west of the Jenin refugee camp were surrounded with barbed wire, and residents were forced to evacuate.

The widespread destruction left by the bulldozers inside the refugee camp resulting in the destruction of dozens of homes, altering the landscape and geography; roads and streets in certain areas were opened and widened in others.

Infantry units have been positioned in various parts of the Jenin refugee camp near the Shireen Abu Aqleh roundabout, Ghabz street, and the new camp.

For the 35th consecutive day, the Israeli military has taken over several homes, turning them into military barracks, particularly those close to and overlooking the Jenin refugee camp.

Residents of nearby homes face difficulties in entering, exiting, and moving around due to the constant presence of snipers, endangering their lives.

According to sources at the Jenin municipality and the Jenin refugee camp services center, approximately 120 homes have been demolished, with dozens more partially destroyed inside the camp.

Estimates indicate that around 160 citizens have been abducted in Jenin as the military continues widespread arrests across the city and other towns and villages in the governorate on an almost daily basis.

According to the Shireen Observatory, Israeli forces have killed 88 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year, including 15 children, 4 women, and 2 elderly citizens.

The latest information reveals that 40 Palestinians have been killed in the Jenin governorate, while 18 have been killed in Tubas, 13 in Tulkarem, 9 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 2 in Bethlehem, and 1 in Jerusalem.
