As the Israeli onslaught on the civilians in the devastated Gaza Strip entered its 100th day, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more across the coastal enclave at dawn Sunday.

The Israeli bombing and shelling were mainly focused on Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while Palestinian resistance groups said they managed to destroy several Israeli tanks and armored vehicles invading the area.

The bombing targeted several parts of Khan Younis, especially in the northern, central, and eastern parts of the city.

Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, mostly women and children, in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

The army also fired artillery shells near the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, including near a clinic run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

In Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired many missiles at shells into several areas, causing dozens of casualties, including fatalities.

Among the slain Palestinians are fourteen, mostly children, who were killed in a home in Rafah, where dozens of Palestinians gathered after fleeing northern Gaza.

The Israeli army said, on Sunday dawn, that one of its reserve commanders and one soldier of the Combat Engineering Corps were killed during gunbattles with Palestinian fighters in southern Gaza.

On Saturday, the army said one soldier was killed, and two officers and one soldier were seriously injured in Gaza.

The number of killed Israeli soldiers since October 7, 2023, is 523, while Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza said the declared numbers do not reflect the actual, much higher number of killed soldiers, especially since the ground invasion of Gaza on October 27.

The World Food Program said at least 577.000 Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing catastrophic or famine levels of hunger, adding that 2.2 million people are in crisis or worse levels of acute food insecurity in Gaza.

It stated: “A sharp escalation of the conflict in Gaza has left the entire population of 2.2 million people in crisis or worse levels of acute food insecurity. One in four households in Gaza, more than half a million people, are facing catastrophic hunger conditions. Hundreds of thousands are crammed into overcrowded shelters and hospitals, with food and water running out.”

Israel has now killed at least 23.843 Palestinians, including more than 7.1000 women and 10.000 children, in addition to more than 10.300 Palestinians buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in the Gaza Strip, and injured at least 60.000, in addition to the dozens of missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble, since October 7.

Among the slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are 112 journalists, including 13 female journalists, in addition to at least 58 abducted journalists in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Also among the slain Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are 4.257 students, in addition to 7.777 injured students and 85 abducted. Israel also killed 227 teachers and educational administrators and wounded at least 756.

Israeli missiles and shells have caused damage to 281 governmental schools and 65 UNRWA-run schools, in addition to killing 142 United Nations employees and targeting 130 UNRWA-run schools and facilities.

Eighty-three schools sustained serious damage, and seven were destroyed. %90 of schools, educational facilities, and buildings were damaged.

%29 of the schools has either been destroyed or sustained irreparable damage. One hundred thirty-three governmental schools are being used as shelters for displaced families.

Israeli missiles and attacks have also killed 326 medical staff and injured 764, in addition to destroying 94 healthcare centers, 65 hospitals, and 76 ambulances. The Israeli army also abducted 65 medics and healthcare workers.   

About %85 of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has been displaced and are staying in 154 UNRWA facilities in several parts of the Gaza Strip, including about 1 million in 94 UNRWA shelters in the southern part of the coastal region.

Israeli missiles and shells have destroyed and damaged more than 290.000 residential units, including homes and residential towers, in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry added that only six ambulances are still operational in Gaza and that hospitals are struggling to keep providing basic services, including Urgent Care and pediatric services, especially incubators for premature babies.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 347 Palestinians, including 83 children; 13 of the slain Palestinians were killed by paramilitary colonizers, and seven died while being tortured in Israeli prisons.

Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have injured at least 4.000 Palestinians, including at least 593, in the West Bank since October 7.

Among the slain Palestinians in the West Bank are 39 students, in addition to 282 injured students and 71 who were abducted and imprisoned.

Israeli soldiers and colonizers have invaded and caused damage to 38 schools across the occupied West Bank.
