On Tuesday dawn, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of several parts of the Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians and wounding many more, especially in Khan Younis and in central Gaza.

Media sources said the Israeli war jets fired missiles at tents of Palestinians who fled their homes and tried to shelter in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, killing at least ten Palestinians and wounding dozens, including women and children who were burnt to death.

The army also fired a missile at a car transporting Palestinians fleeing Khan Younis and heading to the central district through the coastal road, killing and wounding many residents.

At least three Palestinians were also killed by Israeli missiles west of Khan Younis, bringing the number of slain Palestinians to at least 66 in 24 hours, in addition to the dozens who remained under the rubble of the streets.

Workers at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis had to create a new graveyard inside the medical center to burry dozens of slain Palestinians after the army controlled and isolated the graveyards area, to the south of the hospital.

In addition, at least twelve slain Palestinians, who were killed by Israeli missiles in Khan Younis, were moved to Rafah after the Palestinians ambulances were barred from reaching Nasser Hospital.

Also, four Palestinians were killed by an Israeli missile while trying to recover corpses, following heavy shelling in the area in the Al-Balad area in Khan Younis. The Israeli army also exhumed graves in a cemetery in Khan Younis.

In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, the army fired a missile at a home for the Dahnoun family, causing many casualties, including fatalities.

Furthermore, the army fired many artillery shells at homes and buildings around the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, killing at least thirteen Palestinians and wounding many others.

It is worth mentioning that the army continued the firing of missiles and shells along the coastal road of Gaza City and northern Gaza, mainly targeting families fleeing the bombarded areas.

The Al-Haq Human Rights Organization said the Israeli missiles and shells have destroyed the entire Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli army confirmed the death of 21 officers and soldiers during gun battles with Palestinian fighters in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The army said the soldiers were in a building and carried explosive charges with them when Palestinian fighters fired two anti-tank rockets at the building.

Israeli daily Haaretz said Hamas fighters fired RPG shells at the soldiers who were rigging a building in Gaza to demolish it and added that the building collapsed on the soldiers.

Furthermore, thirteen more soldiers were killed in exchanges of fire with Palestinian fighters in the central and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Haaretz quoted Israeli Army spokesperson Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari stating that “21 reserve soldiers were killed from a building that collapsed on top of them due to an explosion in southern Gaza, and a tank that was hit by Rocket-Propelled Grenade missiles shot by Hamas terrorists.”

In addition, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the army wing of Hamas, said its fighters destroyed an armored Israeli troop carrier vehicle after firing a Yassin 105 shell at it in Khan Younis.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said it destroyed an Israeli tank near the Japanese neighborhood west of Khan Younis.

The Palestinian health Ministry said the Israeli army “committed twenty massacres against entire families in Gaza in the last 24 hours, killing 190 Palestinians and wounding 340, adding that most of the victims are seniors, women and children.

The Health Ministry stated that Israeli missiles and shells have killed more than 25.300 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, and injured at least 63.000, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings and on many streets, while medics and rescue operators remain unable to reach them due to massive destruction and ongoing Israeli bombing.
