On Thursday, Day 146 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the army continued to target densely-populated civilian areas, and Palestinians awaiting aid trucks, killing and wounding hundreds, including many children and women.

In Gaza City, the Israeli army fired many missiles and shells at entire residential blocs, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, while medics and Civil Defense teams remain unable to reach bombarded areas due to massive destruction and the intensity of the bombing.

Media sources said the army fired bursts of live rounds at thousands of Palestinians in northern Gaza, especially Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, in addition to Gaza City and surroundings area, while waiting for humanitarian aid trucks along the coastal roads, especially on the Haroun Ar-Rashid Street in Sheikh Ejleen area, west of Gaza City.

Update: Al-Jazeera said that, on Thursday morning, “the world woke up to a new horrific Israeli massacre against the people of Gaza, killing 104 Palestinians and wounding 700 at the Nabulsi Junction, in northern Gaza”.

Al-Jazeera added that the Palestinians gathered to wait for aid trucks when the army attacked them.

Many social media activists expressed their anger about the new crime, unfolding in front of the whole world while governments remain silent, and others justified the crimes by coming up with allegations that contradict basic sense, and the various documentation.

Egypt denounced the crimes and said in a statement that the targeting of hungry civilians, trying to get some aid for their families is a serious violation of International Law and International Humanitarian Law, and violates the basic principles of humanity.

It call on the Security Council and all countries that are impeding its ability to act and order a ceasefire to act and barely the moral, humanitarian and legal responsivities, and hold Israel accountable for its crimes and violations.


Feb 29, 2024 at 16:50: The Quds News Agency said: “At least 150 hungry citizens have been killed and 1000 others wounded in an Israeli massacre in northern Gaza.

Israeli tanks shelled thousands of hungry civilians, who were waiting for flour at Al-Rashid Street. Israeli snipers continue to target everyone approaching the victims in some locations.

The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital told Al Jazeera that the victims were directly targeted in the upper part of the body, indicating that the intention was to kill.”


About 57 slain Palestinians and more than 254 wounded were moved to the Shifa Hospital which is already lacking basic supplies and far exceeding its maximum capacity, 20 slain Palestinians and 160 wounded were moved to Kamal Adwan Hospital, in addition to at least 90 wounded Palestinians who were moved to Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

Dozens of slain and wounded Palestinians remain on the streets as the soldiers prevented the ambulances and medical teams from reaching them.

Journalist Mahmoud Abu Salama said thousands of Palestinians started heading, late at night, towards Rashid Street in Gaza near the shore of the city, where they slept while awaiting aid trucks to arrive, but the Israeli army fired many live rounds and shells at them.

Abu Salama added that the army deliberately targeted the Palestinians killing and wounding hundreds of Palestinians.

Their families in northern Gaza were waiting for their return carrying wheat and food, but the army targeted them in a new crime against the hungry and thirsty civilians.

Also, a Palestinian child Ahmad Hijazi died at a hospital in northern Gaza, due to malnutrition and starvation.

In addition, the Israeli army fired many missiles at homes in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said it received reports about dozens of deaths, especially under the rubble of bombarded homes in the neighborhood that has been under constant Israeli invasion and the firing of missiles and tank shells.

The Israeli army also fired shells at dozens hundreds of Palestinians in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, killing dozens, including women and children, and wounding many more.

Two Palestinians were killed and more than 34 were injured in an earlier Israeli bombing targeting two homes in Deir Al-Balah city.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army bombed homes in the western part of the city, killing three Palestinians and wounded several others.

Also in the western part of Khan Younis, the army fired a missiles at a home, killing one Palestinian and wounding three children.

The World Food Program said its teams informed it that the Palestinians are in unprecedented levels of despair, due to constant bombings, diseases, and imminent famine, while the United Nations warned that 2.2 Million Palestinians in Gaza are facing hunger and extremely dire conditions.

On its part, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, said the Palestinians in Gaza are facing unprecedented levels of food insecurity and extreme hunger.

FAO said that the director of Coordination at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, reporting on the grave situation in Gaza, said that currently at least 576,000 people there — one-quarter of the population — are “one step away from famine”.

It added that one in six children under 2 years old in northern Gaza suffer from acute malnutrition and wasting, and practically the entire population of the Strip is left to rely on woefully inadequate humanitarian food assistance to survive.”

Nevertheless, he observed:  “Unfortunately, as grim as the picture we see today is, there is every possibility for further deterioration.”

“Military operations, insecurity and extensive restrictions on the entry and delivery of essential goods have decimated food production and agriculture, and food-security experts warn of complete agricultural collapse in northern Gaza by May if conditions persist.”

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Israeli army committed nine massacres against entire families in the Gaza Strip, over the last 24 hours, killing 81 and wounding 132.

The Health Ministry added that Israel has now killed at least 30.035 Palestinians and injured more than 70.457, since October 7, 2023, in addition to thousands of missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.
