On Sunday, Day 170 of the ongoing Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in the destroyed and isolated Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, including children and women.

The Israeli army continued its siege on the Shifa Medical Center, west of Gaza City, and burnt various branches, in addition to killing many wounded Palestinians, patients, and families seeking shelter in the hospital.

The army also forced all patients, the wounded, and their families into an old, crumbling building in the medical center, in dire conditions, lacking basic supplies, including clean water.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said one of its medics was killed by Israeli army fire while working in the Al-Amal hospital the PRCS runs, west of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The medic has been identified as Amir Sobhi Abu Aisha, who worked at the Emergency Unit of the PRCS.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Israeli army is holding captive at the Shifa Hospital 240 patients and members of their families, in addition to at least 10 medical personnel.

Jamila Al-Hassi, one of the women who was surrounded and isolated around the Shifa Hospital said the families had no food or water, before fleeing the area.

Jamila told Al-Jazeera that the soldiers also raped and killed women and annihilated entire families trying to shelter in the yards and around the Shifa Hospital, while the military bulldozers dug graves before their dogs mauled the corpses, in addition to mauling Palestinians who were buried under the rubble.

She stated that the soldiers abducted many women and took them to an unknown destination and that the Israeli military dogs dugs and defiled corpses buried in the yards of the medical center, in addition to burning many buildings.

She added that the families have nothing to feed their children, no water, and no place to go as a result of this ongoing bombing and siege.

Furthermore, the army fired many missiles and shells at homes and buildings in Bani Soheila town, east of Khan Younis, causing killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

The soldiers also fired many missiles and shells around Al-Amal hospital, destroying more streets and infrastructure, and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.

Israel has now killed at least 364 medical workers, including medics, doctors, and nurses, since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli army also carried out a series of bombings and air strikes targeting many areas in the center, the southern and the western parts of Khan Younis; the attacks included the firing of many missiles from the air, from the land and the sea, while more tanks and armored vehicles advanced towards Nasser Medical Center.

In Rafah, in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medics uncovered the corpses of six Palestinians under the rubble of a home the Israeli army bombarded.

The Palestinians, all from the Ferwana family, were found under the rubble of their home in the Al-Jneina neighborhood, east of Rafah City.

The Israeli navy also fired barrages of live fire and missiles at Palestinians, trying to shelter near the Rafah shore, and at many homes and buildings.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has confirmed that the soldiers invaded the Al-Amal Hospital it runs in Khan Younis, and the Nasr Hospit6al in Gaza City, and added that the soldiers bulldozed many areas around Al-Amal hospital.

In related news, Al-Jazeera quoted the head of the so-called Israeli National Security Committee, Member of Knesset, Zvika Fogel, saying that the war on Gaza must lead to “settling the Jews in every part of northern Gaza.”

Israeli Channel 7 said Fogel stated that “the world loves winners,” and added that “the Palestinians must pay the price for the October 7 attack, by not having any land in Gaza.”

In addition, Israeli sources said a soldier was killed in gun battles with Palestinian fighters in northern Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed eight massacres against Palestinian families, killing 82 and wounding 106, including many women and children, in less that 24 hours.

Israel has now killed at least 32.226 Palestinians, and injured more than 74.518, mostly women, children, and the elderly, since October 7, 2023. Thousands of Palestinians remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
