On Monday, Day 199, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the besieged and destroyed Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians, and wounding many more, including women and children.

The Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of all parts of the Gaza Strip, including Rafah which was allegedly marked as a safe zone but has been subject to constant bombings and violations.

The former Mayor of Rafah, Sobhi Radwan, said following an Israeli shelling that targeted his home while everyone was asleep, killing nine members of his family: including his son, his son’s wife and their children and wounding dozens, that “both Israel and the United Israel are the epitome of evil in the world, killing women and children, while claiming to care about democracy and human rights.”

In northern Gaza, the army bombarded various areas in Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia, causing dozens of casualties, while Palestinian fighters also exchanged fire with the soldiers invaded an area near Jabal Ar-Rayyes, east of Jabalia, and fired RPG shells at their tanks and armored vehicles.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said one of its sharpshooters killed a soldier in Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, and added that its fighters destroyed at least one D9 armored military bulldozer after firing a Yassin 105 shell at it.

Medical sources said at least four Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured, mostly women and children, in Nusseirat and Al-Boreij, and added that the army also killed and injured many Palestinians in a residential building near the Big Nusseirat Mosque, in central Gaza.

The sources added that the Al-Maghazi refugee camp was subject to extensive Israeli bombing campaigns.

Also, dozens of casualties were reported when the army bombed many areas in the Zahra’ City, the Nusseirat refugee camp, and several parts of Deir Al-Balah.

At least one child was killed after the army fired a missile at her family’s homes in the Abu Arif Street area in Deir Al-Balah; many Palestinians were injured.

In Gaza City, the army fired missiles and shells at many homes in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, in addition to the Al-Mansoura Street in Sheja’eyya, east of the city, and Tal Al-Hawa, in the southern part of the city, causing many casualties.

Furthermore, the army killed and injured many Palestinians in the Sahaba area in Gaza City, after the Israeli war jets fired missiles at homes and buildings.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired missiles and shells at several parts of the city and surrounding areas, causing many casualties.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Israeli army committed six massacres against Palestinian families, killing more dozens, including 54 whose corpses were recovered from the rubble, and wounding more than 104, mostly women and children.

On its part, Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) denounced the statement of US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, who held it responsible for what he called “obstructing an agreement.”

Hamas said that the United States, the official supporter, and funder of the genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, is just showing more hostilities against the Palestinians and continues to deny their suffering and the massacres against the civilians, especially the women and children.

Hamas added that Blinken’s statements contradict the flexible stances the movement presented to achieve a ceasefire agreement and are ignoring the fact that Netanyahu and his extreme right-wing government are obstructing all ceasefire efforts while escalating their crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, amidst a serious escalation in the West Bank.

“Our positions for are clear and never changed; a permanent ceasefire, Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and the reconstruction, to enable the Palestinians to return to their homes and towns,” Hamas said, “These stances were presented from the very beginning, are widely welcomed by all mediators.”

Israel has now killed more than 34.097 Palestinians, including at least 14.000 children, 9.220 women, 364 medical personnel, 136 media workers, and 246 educators, in addition to at least 7.000 who remain buried under the rubble, and injured 76.980 Palestinians, including 6168 children.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said the number of slain Palestinians, including those buried under the rubble, is at least 42.510, among them 38.621 civilians, including 10.091 women and 15.684 children.
