On Thursday, Day 202 of the Israeli genocide of the Palestinian civilians in the destroyed and starved Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more amidst increasing threats of ground invasion into Rafah.
Despite the ongoing bombing and destruction, Palestinian resistance fighters from various groups continued to exchange fire with the soldiers and detonated explosive charges in Israeli tanks and armored vehicles.
In Gaza City, the army fired artillery shells at several neighborhoods, mainly in the Zeitoun neighborhood, Tal Al-Hawa, Sheikh Ejleen, and Rimal, wounding at least ten Palestinians, including three children.
Casualties were also reported when Israeli navy ships fired shells at the port area and the Shati refugee camp, in Gaza.
In central Gaza, the army killed at least four Palestinians and injured many, after firing a missile at the Salahuddin Street in Deir Al-Balah.
Also in Deir Al-Balah, an Israeli drone fired a missile near the Old Mosque, wounding at least three Palestinians.
An Israeli military drone killed four Palestinians and injured many, after firing a shell at them in the Wadi Zarqa Brigade area, in central Gaza.
Also, Palestinian Civil Defense teams found the dead body of one woman under the rubble of her home that the army bombed in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, and are still looking for Palestinians under the rubble.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army killed and injured many Palestinians, especially in a home in the al-Fukhari area, east of the city, and also fired artillery shells at agricultural lands in the Al-Amour neighborhood, east of Al-Fukhari.
Casualties were also reported when the army fired barrages of shells and missiles at several homes in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis.

At least five Palestinians were killed, including two children, and many were injured when the army fired a missile at the home of a Palestinian journalist, Mohammad Bassam Al-Jamal.

At least three Palestinians were injured when the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Arar family in the Abu Mosbeh area, north of Rafah.
Many Palestinians were injured when the army fired missiles at agricultural lands where families sheltered in the Khirbat Al-Adas area and the Shaboura refugee camp.
It is worth mentioning that about 1.5 million Palestinians are currently sheltering in Rafah, the majority of whom were displaced from central and northern Gaza, and any ground invasion would lead to even much larger casualties as it is the last area the Palestinians can flee to.
The official Israeli radio and various media outlets said the Israeli army is now ready to begin its ground offensive in Rafah despite rising objections from various world countries due to the anticipated mass casualties.

Rafah used to be home to about 275.000 Palestinians, but now, there are more than 1.5 million Palestinians.
Israel has now killed at least 34.262 Palestinians and injured more than 77.229, mostly women and children, in several parts of the coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
In the West Bank, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers killed 498 Palestinians, including 124 children and five women, in the occupied West Bank, since October 7, 2023, after the army killed, Wednesday, Khaled Raed Suleiman ‘Orouq, 16, and a young woman Maymouna Abdul-Hamid Harahsha, 20.
