On Wednesday, the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip entered its 208th day, amid Israeli warplanes and artillery bombardment of residential squares and the vicinity of shelters, especially in the cities of Gaza City, Rafah, Deir al-Balah, and Nuseirat camp.
Before dawn on Wednesday, a number of Palestinians were killed and injured, and more buildings and property was decimated by Israeli airstrikes.
Correspondents with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported the rise of a number of martyrs and the fall of a number of injured as a result of Israeli shelling targeting a residential building on Al-Jalaa Street in the center of Gaza City, which was confirmed by medical sources at the Baptist Hospital in the city.
Local sources reported 3 killed and 4 wounded, including children, were recovered after the house was bombed on Al-Galaa Street.
Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in the southwest, and the Sabra neighborhood in the center of the city.
Israeli warplanes targeted the Nuseirat camp and the eastern area of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Health sources also reported the death of a female citizen who was injured in artillery shelling east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
In an indefinite toll, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression reached 34,535, the majority of whom were children and women, in addition to 77,704 wounded.
