On Friday afternoon and evening, Israeli forces continued their assault on northern and southern Gaza. A full count of the number killed on Friday has not been made, as the Ministry of Health has been bombed and it is hard to keep track of the numbers of casualties. We do know the number is at least dozens, possibly hundreds killed on Friday alone.
The casualties were centered in the northern Gaza city of Jabalia and the southern Gaza City of Rafah, where Israeli tanks have rolled in and are continuing to fire artillery shells at heavily populated camps of internally displaced Palestinians.

At least one civilian was killed and others were injured Friday night, in the Israeli shelling targeting Jabalya camp, in the northern
Gaza Strip. According to local sources, Israeli warplanes fired several shells at Faisal Bin Fahd School, west of the camp, killing a civilian and wounding others.
Also Friday, Israeli troops killed journalist Mohammad al-Hobi in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in Rafah, southern Gaza.

On this, the 224th day of the Israeli assault on Gaza, most of Gaza’s infrastructure has been bombed to rubble.
Just a few days ago, Israeli forces bombed an ancient bathhouse in the Old City of Gaza. Known as the “Bath of the Samaritans”, this culturally significant and historic landmark and heritage has now been reduced to smithereens.

Israeli authorities continue to refuse to allow international observers, reporters or lawyers into their detention camps in the southern Negev, where thousands of Palestinian men and boys are being held by Israeli authorities in horrifying conditions of squalor and torture. Several detainees who were released described torture sessions observed and overseen by the Israeli ‘Defense’ Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, in which imprisoned Palestinians were tortured to death.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, resulting in the death of 35,303 Palestinians in the last 224 days, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 79,261 others, in an indefinite toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble. In the same time period, an estimated 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed during their invasion of the Gaza Strip. No Israeli civilians have been killed since October 7th, when an invasion of southern Israel by Hamas fighters resulted in the deaths of 1100 Israelis in a single day, including 700 civilians, 35 of whom were children. Every day since October 7th, an estimated 75 children per day have been among the casualties of the massive Israeli bombardment and ground invasion of the entire Gaza Strip.

Day 224: “Ongoing Bombings Kill Dozens, Injure Hundreds, In Gaza”

On Friday, Day 224 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens and injured hundreds, including women and children, in various parts of the destroyed, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip.
Israeli military helicopters targeted many Palestinians, including fishermen who were trying to fish amidst the starvation and destruction, causing several injuries.
The army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal enclave, targeting many areas in northern, central, and southern Gaza.
Medical sources said at least four Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a school housing displaced families in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Many casualties were reported in the Israeli bombing and shelling of Jabalia, in northern Gaza, especially in the Jabalia refugee camp and its eastern areas.
The army also continued the massive destruction of homes and buildings in Jabalia, detonated and leveled entire residential blocs.
The Israeli army fired missiles at homes in the Shati refugee camp, in Gaza City, and bombarded many neighborhoods, homes, and buildings in the center of Gaza City.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army killed more than eleven Palestinians and injured dozens in several parts of the city.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, six Palestinian paramedics were injured, one seriously, when the army fired missiles at the vicinity of the Kuwaiti hospital.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said one of its sharpshooters shot an Israeli soldier near Jabalia.
At least one soldier suffered a serious injury in gun clashes with Palestinian fighters in northern Gaza.
Also, five soldiers were killed in recent days in Jabalia, and one, Ran Yavetz, 39, (who posed for a picture in front of a bombarded home in Gaza) was killed in what was called an “operational accident” across the perimeter fence with Gaza.
More than %95 of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are now displaced across the Gaza Strip due to Israel’s ongoing bombing of cities, towns, and refugee camps, in addition to the continued targeting of hospitals, schools, and civilian facilities.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israel has killed at least 35,303 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including more than 15,103 children and 9,961 women, and injured more than 79,261, the majority of whom are women, children, and the elderly.
Euro-Med Human Rights Monitors reported, a few days earlier, that the number of slain Palestinians, including those under the rubble, is at least 43.640 (39.675 Civilians) and the number of injured is more than 81.560.
The number of displaced Palestinians is at least 2.000.000 after the army destroyed 136.700 homes, damaged 398.700 homes, destroyed or damaged 179 press headquarters, damaged 459 schools, destroyed 2.340 industrial facilities, damaged 667 mosques and 3 churches, 459 schools, 29 hospitals, 76 clinics, and 227 ambulances, in addition to 203 heritage sites.
Among the slain Palestinians are 371 healthcare professionals (in addition to 560 injured), and 45 Civil Defense workers (169 injured).
