Airstrikes target Rafah market

Israeli airstrikes killed 25 Palestinian civilians on Thursday before dawn. Despite the Israeli attacks on journalists, including the banning of Al Jazeera and the attack this week on the Associated Press, images, videos and reports continue to emerge from the heart of Gaza showing the ongoing horror that the Palestinian civilian population is facing from the constant Israeli bombardment, ground invasions and forced displacement from one place to another.

Just after dawn Thursday, Israeli quadcopters dropped bombs on Rafah’s main marketplace, setting it on fire.

17 Palestinians were killed, including at least 10 children, and dozens were injured, at dawn today, Thursday, when the Israeli occupation forces targeted two homes in the cities of Gaza and Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that 16 people were killed, including 10 children, and a number of citizens were injured, as a result of the occupation bombing of a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City.

Sources reported that a citizen died after the occupation forces targeted a house in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, belonging to the Al-Sha’er family.

The occupation forces targeted at dawn today a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which led to the death of 8 Palestinian civilians.

Eight people were killed, and a number of others were seriously injured, as a result of the occupation forces targeting a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources confirmed that the occupation forces targeted a populated house in the Nusseirat refugee camp, belonging to the Shihab family, which led to the death of 8, most of whom were children and women, and the injury of a number of others, noting that the number of slain Palestinians is likely to rise in this bombing due to serious injuries.

US President Joe Biden, despite having previously said that Israel invading Rafah would be a ‘red line’ that would lead to a loss of US support for Israel, continued to send billions of dollars worth of weapons to Israel, saying only that he hoped Israeli forces would avoid “a lot of death and destruction” in their Rafah invasion.

Israel has now killed at least 35.709, and injured more than 79.990, mostly women, children and the elderly, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7. 2023.
