On Thursday, Day 251 of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, the army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal region, killing and wounding dozens, including women and children.

Media sources said the army fired two missiles at a home on Nafaq Street in Gaza City, killing seven Palestinians, including a woman and a child.

The sources added that the medics moved the slain and injured Palestinians to the Baptist Hospital in the city, while search and rescue teams continued to search for potential survivors under the rubble.

Also, the army fired a missile at a home for the Al-Bakri family near Haidar Junction, west of Gaza City, killing three women and wounding several Palestinians.

At least one Palestinian was killed, and many were injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at Kashko Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Furthermore, one Palestinian was killed and four injured when the army fired a missile at the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

A Palestinian child was also killed, and several residents were injured in another bombing targeting a home in the city.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army carried out a series of air strikes targeting an area, southwest of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and the main entrance of the Al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, at least two Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured by Israeli shells in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, in the western part of the city.

Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA Commissioner-General said, “The children in Gaza have gone through what no child anywhere in the world should see or undergo.”

On his X account, Lazzarini said “Children suffer first, and suffer most in conflicts and wars; Gaza is no different.”

“Children have gone through what no child anywhere in the world should see or undergo. Far too many were killed, far too many were injured, and far too many will be scarred for life,” he added, “Those who survived are in deep trauma, their schools have been destroyed and they lost a whole school year, with no education or play. The war robbed the children of #Gaza of their childhood. Without a ceasefire, they will become a lost generation, easy to fall prey to exploitation. For the sake of children: Palestinians and Israelis, #CeasefireNowInGaza.”

Israel has now killed at least 37.232 Palestinians, and injured more than 85.037, including women and children, in addition to the thousands of Palestinians who remain under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on streets and alleys in several parts of the destroyed coastal enclave.

Earlier Update: Jun 13, 2024, at 23:06: A correspondent with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the occupation warplanes targeted with two missiles a house in the Al-Nafaq Street area in Gaza City, which led to the death of seven citizens, including a woman and a child, from the Al-Sheikh family, who were transported to the Baptist Hospital in the city.

At least four citizens were martyred, and dozens were injured, earlier Thursday, in continuous bombing by the Israeli occupation on the cities of Gaza and Rafah.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the death of more than 37,232 citizens and the injury of 85,037 others, an indefinite toll which is likely much higher, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
