On Wednesday, Day 271 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated, destroyed, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, the Israeli army fired barrages of missiles and shells, and live rounds, especially from drones, at various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

Medical sources said four Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured, when the army fired a missile at a home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, in Gaza City, and added that one Palestinian was injured when the army fired a missile at a home, in the eastern part of the city.

Also, the army fired artillery shells at homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing at least eleven Palestinians, including women and children, and causing several injuries.

Furthermore, the army fired shells at Palestinians trying to return to the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, killing four and injuring seventeen.

Palestinian ambulances tried to reach Sheja’eyya, but Israeli military drones fired many live rounds at them, while the army continued to bomb the area.

It is worth mentioning that Sheja’eyya was struck with many Israeli missiles, artillery, and tank shells, in addition to being attacked by military drones, leading to many casualties.

Earlier at dawn, the medics found the corpses of seven Palestinians and rescued many wounded residents in a home for the Maqat family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city, and moved them to the Baptist Hospital.

The army also fired many missiles and shells at the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City, and the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza, while military drones fired barrages of live rounds.

Also in Gaza City, the army fired a missile at a Printshop on Yaffa Street in the Yaffa Street area.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics and rescue teams are still looking for slain and wounded Palestinians under the rubble of homes and buildings the army bombarded in the Zarqa area in Gaza City.

In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, the PRCS said it moved wounded Palestinians to the Kamal Adwan hospital in Jabalia refugee camp after the army fired a missile at a home for the Al-Kurd family.

Many Palestinians were also injured when the army fired artillery shells at the eastern areas of the Jabalia refugee camp.

The refugee camp remains one of the most impacted Palestinian areas in the Gaza Strip, lacking basic supplies, including food and water after the Israeli army prevented aid trucks from reaching it.

In the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza, the army fired shells at displaced Palestinians in the eastern part of the refugee camp, killing two and wounding several others.

Also in Al-Maghazi, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a car, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others, before they were moved to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in nearby Deir Al-Balah.

Casualties were also reported in extensive Israeli bombing and shelling of the Nusseirat area, the Zahra’ City, and the Al-Mughraqa area, in central Gaza, where the army also fired many live rounds at residents trying to seek shelter.

In Rafah, in the Gaza Strip’s southmost part, the army fired many missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the central and western parts of the city.

Medical sources said at least two Palestinians were killed, and several were injured, when the army fired shells at the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, in the western part of Rafah City.

It is worth mentioning that at least 250.000 Palestinians have no other option but to leave Khan Younis, although they have no place to go to, UNRWA Advisor Adnan Abu Hasna told Al-Jazeera and added that the food supplies, mainly wheat, and canned food, the UNRWA has is not enough.

Israel has now killed at least 37.925 Palestinians and injured more than 87.141, mostly elderly, women, and children, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely under the rubble, on destroyed streets, and in bombarded alleys, in various parts of the destroyed Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
