On Tuesday July 23, 2024, day 291 of the Israeli assault on the entire civilian population of 2.24 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued the relentless bombardment and forced displacement of Palestinian civilians.

The death toll from the Israeli intensive bombardment on the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, has risen to 77, while more than 30 others are still under the rubble, and about 200 others were injured, including children and women, according to medical sources.

The large-scale Israeli aggression on eastern Khan Yunis coincided with the forced displacement of tens of thousands of citizens, amid catastrophic humanitarian and medical conditions, due to the intensive and violent occupation raids.

 

As the aggression on the Gaza Strip entered its 291st day , the occupation continued to commit its massacres in different parts of the Strip at dawn on Tuesday, concentrated in addition to Khan Yunis, in Gaza City, Jabalia Camp, and Deir al-Balah, which resulted in the killing and injury of dozens of citizens.

In Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, medical sources confirmed to the Wafa news agency that 4 people were killed and others were injured in Israeli raids that targeted homes in the camp .

The Israeli occupation aircraft also targeted a house belonging to the Al-Jamasi family on Al-Nafaq Street in the Al-Sahaba area, which resulted in the killing of 4 civilians and the injury of others.

Health sources reported, at dawn today, that 8 civilians were killed in an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the “Al-Dayah” family on Al-Maghribi Street in Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City .

Civil Defense sources in Gaza said that Israeli shelling targeted the home of the Bakr family in the Al-Hadba area in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the death and injury of a number of citizens.

Six Palestinian civilians were killed and 10 others were injured on Tuesday in the Israeli shelling of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.

A correspondent with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the Israeli occupation’s warplanes targeted a house at the entrance to the camp, which led to the killing of six civilians and the injury of 10 others, who were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital.

The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of 39,090 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of 90,147 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them .
