On Thursday, Day 293 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in the destroyed, starved, besieged, and devastated coastal region, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians across the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the army fired missiles and shells at homes, streets, and areas where hundreds of families sheltered in tents and schools across the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said at least four Palestinians were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at a home in the Qizan Najjar area, south of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The sources added that three Palestinians were killed and many were injured when the army bombarded homes in Bani Soheila town, east of Khan Younis.

The army also fired many missiles and artillery shells at the Al-Qarara area in Khan Younis, displacing hundreds of Palestinians, yet again, while military bulldozers continued to destroy streets, level buildings, and uproot lands.

Military Quadcopters also fired barrages of live rounds at Palestinians fleeing bombarded areas in Khan Younis.

Among the heavily bombarded areas are those around the Dar as-Salam Hospital in Khan Younis.
One child was killed and many residents were injured when the army fired live rounds at displaced Palestinians in the Abasan Al-Jadeeda area, east of Khan Younis.

Also, a Palestinian was killed when the army fired live rounds at Palestinians in the Mortaja Junction area, east of Khan Younis.

Furthermore, the soldiers wired and detonated many Palestinian homes in the Nahhas area, between Sheikh Nasser and Bani Soheila.

Also, an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a home for the Omran family in Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of Khan Younis, killing four Palestinians, including one child, from the family, and wounding many others.

Also in Khan Younis, the army fired a missile at a home for the Najjar family, killing at least four Palestinians, including one child, and wounding many.

Furthermore, the army continued the massive ground offensive in Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part since May 7, amidst aerial bombardment and artillery shelling of various parts of the city and surrounding areas, causing dozens of casualties.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army released seven Palestinians, including two women, all showing clear signs of extreme torture and abuse, after the soldiers abducted them in Gaza in previous weeks and months, before they were moved to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), and the Addameer Foundation for Prisoner Care and Human Rights said that at least 18 detainees were killed in the occupation jails after October 7.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for the Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has confirmed that hospitals in the Gaza Strip are stretched way beyond their capacity after nearly 10 months of relentless Israeli aggression.

“Frequent evacuation orders and relentless hostilities continue to further devastate Gaza’s health system,” UNRWA said in a post on X, and added, “People can’t access essential healthcare services, particularly ones suffering from chronic diseases.”

UNRWA affirmed that the Palestinians in the war-torn coastal enclave are exhausted by the continuous displacement. “They leave almost everything behind, carrying what they can in their hands.”

“Families with young children are forced to run through dangerous areas, amid bombardments and military operations, with nowhere safe to go,” UNRWA added.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed three massacres of families in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 30 Palestinians and wounding 146, including children, women, and elderly, in various parts of the Gaza Strip, in the last twenty-four hours.

Israel has now killed at least 39.175 Palestinians, and injured more than 90.403, mostly children and women, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble, on destroyed streets and destroyed alleys, since October 7, 2023.
