On Sunday Day 296 of the ongoing genocide in the destroyed, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, Israel missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women.

The Israeli army intensified its bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, from the land, the air, and the sea, displaying yet again thousands of Palestinians, especially in Khan Younis.

In central Gaza, Israeli armored vehicles fired dozens of live rounds at the Palestinians and deployed flares in areas northwest of the Nusseirat refugee camp and north of the al-Boreij refugee camp.

Medical sources have confirmed that the soldiers bombarded tents used by displaced families in Mawasi Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing at least three Palestinians, including a child, and wounding dozens, among them women and children.

The sources added that at least one Palestinian was killed and many were injured when the army fired missiles into the center of Khan Younis city.

Also, several Palestinians were killed and injured when the army fired a missile at a home in Abasan town, near Khan Younis; one child died later from his serious wounds.

The army ordered dozens of thousands of displaced Palestinians to leave the areas, south of Khan Younis, as it is now preparing for a massive ground offensive, and intensified its ground offensive and bombing of the eastern parts of the city.

Media sources said the army dropped dozens of missiles and bombs at the Qizan Najjar area and Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis.

It is worth mentioning that the army continued the wiring and detonating of residential buildings in Khan Younis, while the Airforce fired missiles at the outskirts of the Qizan Najjar area, in addition to firing barrages of live rounds at homes and property in the area.

Furthermore, the Health Ministry said at least thirteen Palestinians were killed, on Sunday evening, and dozens were injured, in the Israeli bombing of various parts of Khan Younis. Ten of the slain Palestinians, and many of the wounded, were sheltering in one home in the city.

In the Sikka area, in Khan Younis, three Palestinians were killed and several were injured when the army fired a missile at it.

Media sources said the army fired many artillery shells at the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa, Sabra, Zeitoun, and Sheikh Ejleen, in Gaza City, causing many casualties.

In the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City, Israeli missiles killed at least four Palestinians, and injured many more, while the search continued for potential victims and survivors among the rubble.

The army also fired a missile at an apartment near the Ministry of Youth and Sport in the Nasr neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

Furthermore, several Palestinians were killed and injured when the army fired shells at the Sena’a area in Gaza City.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Palestinians in the Mosbeh area, north of the city, killing two Palestinians and wounding two.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Israeli army committed three massacres of families in the last 24 hours, killing and wounding hundreds, including 66 slain Palestinians and 241 wounded who were moved to medical centers.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army killed 16.255 Palestinians and injured 31.297, in the first half of this year (01/01/2024 – 06/30/2024); among the slain Palestinians are 6.725 children and 4.804 women.

Israel has now killed at least 39.324 Palestinians, and injured more than 90.830, mostly children and women, in addition to the thousands (about 10.000) who remain under the rubble, on destroyed streets, and in bombarded alleys across the coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
