On Tuesday, August 20th, day 319 of the ongoing Israeli assault on the entire civilian population of the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued their relentless assault by air, sea and land.
A number of civilians were killed and injured, at dawn on Tuesday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of several areas in the Gaza Strip.
A correspondent with the Wafa news agency reported that 6 civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation bombing a house belonging to the Abu Zaid family in Block 9 in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In Rafah city, in southern Gaza, 4 civilians were killed when the Israeli occupation bombed a civilian car in the vicinity of Al-Hashashin Street north of the city. The Israeli occupation also blew up residential buildings west of the city, while the Israeli occupation artillery fired shells and gunfire towards central and western Rafah.
The Israeli occupation forces penetrated amidst heavy gunfire towards the tents of internally displaced in the Shakoush area in Mawasi Rafah, northwest of Rafah city.
In Khan Yunis, 5 citizens were injured by bullets from occupation tanks that attacked the outskirts of the Mawasi area of Al-Qarara town, northwest of the city.
In Gaza City, the Israeli occupation artillery fired shells and bullets at the neighborhoods of Tal al-Hawa, al-Sabra, and al-Zeitoun, and the Israeli occupation warplanes launched a raid on the Asqalan area.
The occupation army’s artillery fired shells at the northwestern areas of the Nuseirat camp and the east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 40,139 Palestinians and the injury of 92,743 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
