On Saturday, January 18, 2024, day 470 of Israel’s ongoing assault against the entire civilian population of 2.2 million Palestinians in the Gaza prison camp, Israel increased its already relentless bombardment of the civilian population in advance of a ceasefire set to go into effect at 8:30 am on Sunday.

7:22 am:
A husband, wife and their three children from the Al-Qudra family were killed in an Israeli occupation bombing that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Mawasi area of Al-Qarara town, near Al-Hedaya Mosque, north of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Around the same time, a female Palestinian citizen was injured by gunfire from the Israeli occupation boats west of Khan Yunis.
2:32 pm:
A Palestinian citizen was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Fakhari town, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation warplanes launched a raid on Al-Amur neighborhood in Al-Fakhari town, east of Khan Yunis, which led to the death of a Palestinian citizen and the injury of others.
She added that the Israeli occupation forces shot a woman east of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, which resulted in her being injured by live bullets, and she was transferred to the Gaza European Hospital.
The Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the vicinity of Al-Oyoun intersection on Al-Nasr Street, northwest of Gaza City.
The occupation’s drones fired several bombs on Abu Warda Street in Jabalia Al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip.
5:05 pm:
A young man was killed and several others were injured on Saturday evening by Israeli occupation forces gunfire in Abu Taima area, east of Al-Fakhari town, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
A number of Palestinian citizens were also injured by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
11:52 pm:
The Israeli occupation forces blew up, on Saturday evening, residential buildings north of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation also launched a raid on Gaza City, while its artillery shelled the west of Rafah, in the south of the Strip.

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 46,899 killed and 110,725 wounded, since October 7, 2023 .
Since the announcement of the ceasefire agreement last Wednesday, more than 120 Palestinian citizens have been killed and dozens injured in the Israeli occupation’s bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip .
