Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child, on Sunday, after storming the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the child, Ahmad Rashid Rushdi Jazar, 14, was killed on Sunday evening, after occupation forces shot him with live ammunition in the town of Sebastia.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a child to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the chest; he later succumbed to his wounds.
Mohammad Azem, the Mayor of Sebastia, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli forces invaded the town, while firing live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at citizens and their homes, shooting and killing the child, Jazar, and causing several others to suffer inhalation injuries.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 860 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 177 children, and injured 7,000.
The distribution of those killed in the West Bank is as follows; 237 in Jenin, 197 in Tulkarem, 96 in Nablus, 78 in Hebron, 72 in Tubas, 59 in Ramallah, 50 in occupied Jerusalem, 33 in Qalqilia, 22 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jericho, 12 inside Israel, and 4 in Salfit.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 46,913 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children, and injured 110,750 citizens, while the bodies of thousands of citizens remain buried under the rubble of the devastated coastal enclave.
