On Thursday, Israeli forces assaulted and abducted a father and son in Silwan town, rammed a vehicle in Jenin, and confiscated a vehicle in Salfit, injuring at least five Palestinian citizens.
Before dawn Thursday, the Israeli army stormed the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank and deployed a infantry units that roamed the streets.
Soldiers invaded the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of the city, breaking into the home of Marwan Ali, while military vehicles toured the streets.
In the northern West Bank, the army invaded, on Thursday night, the towns of Arraba and Silat Al-Dhahr, southwest of Jenin.
In Arraba town, the army deployed infantry squads in several neighborhoods and conducted a large-scale search operation.
Media sources said that a military vehicle struck a citizen’s vehicle, causing two Palestinians to sustain mild injuries; they were transported to hospital for treatment.
It was added the army brutally assaulted a young man who suffered various wounds; he was taken to hospital for medical intervention.
Soldiers stormed the town of Silat Al-Dhahr, while positioning themselves in the vicinity of the towns of Kafr Ra’i and Fahma.
Meanwhile, in the central West Bank, the army confiscated a privately-owned vehicle near the northern entrance to the city of Salfit.
Furthermore, in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli troops abducted a father and son in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The army broke into and destroyed contents of the Rukn family home, just one day after the released prisoner, Abdul Rahman Rukn was released.
The released prisoner’s father and his younger brother, Ibrahim, were brutally beaten by the soldiers before they were abducted.
