Israeli occupation forces demolished five residential and agricultural structures east of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, on Thursday.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the demolitions targeted two residential units and a sheep pen belonging to Palestinian citizen Mohammad Al-Ma’azi, as well as another residential unit and sheep pen owned by his brother, Jamil Al-Ma’azi.
The structures were located in the al-Baqi’a area of the Nabi Musa wilderness, east of the city.
The Israeli army claimed the buildings were constructed without permits from the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative arm of Israel’s illegal occupation.
The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission reported that in October alone, Israeli forces carried out 25 demolition operations affecting 28 structures—17 homes and 11 agricultural facilities—and issued demolition notices for an additional 30 Palestinian structures.
