On Monday, Israeli forces imposed a complete siege on the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, after four Israelis were injured in an alleged run-over attack.
Media sources said that the army pushed additional military reinforcements to Al-Khader town, on Monday night, positioning soldiers throughout the town, while firing live rounds, purportedly searching for an unknown assailant who allegedly carried out a run-over attack.
Sources added that Israeli soldiers closed and surrounded the town, invaded citizens’ homes and commercial shops, assaulted citizens, and opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades.
Palestinian TV reported that Israeli forces seized a citizen’s vehicle in the town of Al-Khader, during the ongoing incursion into several areas in the Bethlehem governorate.
Earlier, occupation forces injured several Palestinian citizens after storming the town of Al-Khader, and positioned soldiers in the “Al-Balou’ Triangle”.
Media sources said that occupation forces opened fire with concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens and their vehicles, causing many citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
