On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin city in the northern occupied West Bank, closing streets and detaining dozens of residents. Four Palestinians were assaulted and injured during the invasion.
Media sources reported that an undercover Israeli military unit infiltrated the Eastern Neighborhood of Jenin before several military vehicles advanced from the Al-Jalama military roadblock.
Soldiers then stormed and ransacked homes, converting one into an interrogation center.
Dozens of residents were detained and interrogated, while four sustained cuts and bruises from assaults.
In response to the ongoing invasion, the Directorate of Education in Jenin suspended all classes in government-run and private schools, including kindergartens.
In related news, the Israeli army invaded the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, and initiated extensive searches.
