Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple invasions and abductions across the occupied West Bank on Friday, including in Al‑‘Arroub refugee camp in the southern West Bank, several villages northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, the village of Salem east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and Qalandia refugee camp in Jerusalem.

In the Al‑‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, Israeli forces invaded the camp, opened fire with live rounds, and fired concussion grenades and tear‑gas canisters.

Local sources said the soldiers abducted a young man after shooting and injuring him during the invasion.

Later on Friday evening, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians, including a father and his son, in the village of Al‑Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Local sources said the soldiers invaded the village and abducted Hamza Aref Abu ‘Alia, 23, As’ad Abdullah Abu ‘Alia, 33, and Alaa’ Haj Mohammad along with his son Mahmoud, after breaking into their home and ransacking its contents.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces invaded the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and abducted Sheikh Zaki Barakat after breaking into his home and searching it.

Israeli forces also carried out simultaneous invasions in the towns of Silwad and Al‑Mazra’a al‑Sharqiya, northeast of Ramallah.

Local residents said soldiers abducted an unspecified number of young men, assaulted several others, seized approximately ten vehicles, and broke into multiple homes, searching and damaging them.

In Birzeit, north of Ramallah, a 21‑year‑old Palestinian was injured when Israeli forces invaded the town and shot him with rubber‑coated rounds in the leg and back from close range.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews provided medical treatment before transferring him to a hospital.

In the Zawiya town, west of Salfit, Israeli forces closed the iron gate installed at the town’s main entrance, imposing movement restrictions on residents. Soldiers then invaded the town, broke into several homes, and searched them.

In Salem, east of Nablus, Israeli forces invaded the village and abducted a young man identified as Baha’ al‑Sha’er from the nearby village of Beit Dajan while he was present in the area.

In addition, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and initiated extensive searches after closing several alleys.
