On day 105 of the Israeli assault on Gaza, Israeli forces committed at least 15 massacres of civilians overnight, resulting in more than 172 people killed, according to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.

The daily average of Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israeli forces has been between 150 and 300, and that daily death toll shows no signs of lessening as Israeli forces continue to pound all parts of Gaza with thousands of tons of bombs and artillery shelling on a daily basis.


Update: At least seven Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army fired missiles at a home for the Darwish family in the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli Navy ships also fired shells at several homes in the Shati’ refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

According to local sources, Israeli bombs killed five people in a residential building west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The Israeli army also bombed a building housing patients and families who were displaced from the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, several Palestinians were injured by live fire from Israeli military drones in front of the Al-Amal Hospital in the city,

Despite Israeli claims that they had pulled out from the Nasser Hospital area, journalists on site report that Israeli troops have continued to besiege and attack the hospital and surrounding area.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has announced that at least 8,000 Palestinians have now been infected with hepatitis A, in a fast-growing outbreak of the dangerous disease, as a result of overcrowding and low levels of hygiene.

A 20-year-old sergeant in Israel’s Givati Brigade has died of injuries suffered in battle in southern Gaza on Wednesday, the Israeli military said.

Three Israeli reservists were also seriously wounded in fighting in the north and center of the Gaza Strip, the military said.

Citing Israel’s military, the UN reports that so far 191 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the ground invasion of the Palestinian territory and some 1,178 wounded. It was not known if the latest death and injuries were included in the UN’s toll of Israeli casualties.

Al Jazeera reported that the al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas party, issued a statement saying that its fighters had killed and wounded 40 Israeli soldiers on Thursday, and destroyed 10 vehicles, including troop carriers and tanks, in specific operations, at a time when the Gaza Strip is witnessing battles from its south to its north.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said – in statements via the Telegram application – that its fighters confirmed that 30 Israeli ground troops were killed or wounded from a booby-trapped building they entered during their invasion of Bani Suhaila, east of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam fighters also targeted an Israeli force stationed in a house east of Khan Yunis with an anti-tank shell, killing five Israeli soldiers. The Brigades said they had targeted a troop carrier, two Merkava tanks , and three military bulldozers with shells and anti-armor devices.

In the areas of confrontation in Gaza City, the Brigades confirmed that their fighters had targeted two Israeli troop carriers at the Hebron military site and Jabal al-Rayes, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with “Al-Yassin 105” shells, noting that its fighters clashed with soldiers who were around one of the two vehicles, leaving them dead and wounded.

It also said that its fighters targeted a Merkava tank with three soldiers on top with a Yassin 105 shell, also east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

Israeli soldiers continue to make and post videos of themselves mocking Palestinian pain and suffering, including the most recent one of a soldier laughing and joking about the destruction caused by the Israeli military in one of the 88 United Nations primary schools that have damaged or destroyed since October 7th.

Merav Svirsky, the sister of one of the hostages who died in Gaza this week, blamed the ongoing Israeli bombardment for her brother’s death, telling the Washington Post “the military pressure is endangering the hostages.”

At least 24,762 Palestinians have been killed and 62.108 injured as a result of Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, mostly buried under the rubble of the thousands of bombarded homes and building.

Around 100 Israelis remain in captivity in Gaza. Over 7,000 Palestinian hostages are being held in Israeli prison camps, with reports of torture and abuse, including at least 7 Palestinians who have been tortured to death during the now-105-day long Israeli assault on Palestinians.

The Palestinian Health Ministry also said the overcrowding in shelters, without sanitation, especially in schools used by the families who fled their homes, has led to significant numbers of communicable diseases, and at least 8000 Palestinians Hepatitis A.
