On day 43 of the ongoing Israeli onslaught and indiscriminate bombing of the densely populated Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and wounded hundreds, bringing the number of slain Palestinians to at least 12,000 in addition to 32,000 injuries, mainly children and women, since October 7th, 2023.
Since October 7th, Israeli missiles have killed more than 12,000 Palestinians, including 5,000 children and 3,300 women, and injured at least 30,000 Palestinians, about 75% of whom are children and women.
At least 3,750 Palestinians, including 1,800 children, remain buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in several parts of the Gaza Strip.
The Health Ministry said most Gaza hospitals and medical facilities have stopped providing services after running out of medical supplies and fuel to keep electricity generators running.
It added that the constant Israeli bombing is obstructing the work of medics and rescue operators as they have been unable to reach the bombarded areas, in addition to the Gaza Strip’s serious lack, not only of medical supplies but also basic needs, such as water, food, and fuel.
On Friday, the Health Ministry said:
At least twenty Palestinians were killed and many injured by an Israeli missile that struck a home for the Abu Hatab family in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Five Palestinians were killed and many injured when an Israeli missile struck an apartment in Khan Younis.
Fifteen Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured by Israeli missiles that struck many homes in a neighborhood in Khan Younis.
Many Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The Israeli army fired many missiles in the vicinity of Abu Yousef An-Najjar Hospital, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of Israeli missiles struck homes and buildings in several parts of northern Gaza.
Dozens of Palestinians were killed and more injured by at least 40 Israeli missiles and shells near the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza.
Israeli missiles struck dozens of homes in Beit Lahia and Jabalia, in northern Gaza, leading to dozens of casualties, including fatalities.
The Israeli army is surrounding the Baptist Hospital in Gaza and preventing anyone from entering or leaving it.
Conditions in Shifa Medical Center are dire; smells of decomposing corpses fill the hospital, while the staff and volunteers are unable to remove garbage and medical waste from the facility. The army also invaded the Specialty Surgery Ward in the facility.
Twenty-four patients and wounded Palestinians died at the Shifa Hospital Friday after the power blackout resulted in stopping machines and respiratory devices, while the doctors became unable to perform surgeries.
Israeli soldiers detonated an MRI Machine and various sorts of medical machines in the Shifa Medical Center.
Al-Wafa’ Hospital for Seniors in the Zahra’ area in central Gaza, Dr. Midhat Moheisin, and an elderly woman were killed, and many were injured, including medical staff, when the army fired missiles at the medical facility.
The Palestinians had to bury an additional 85 Palestinians in the mass grave in the yard of the Shifa Hospital.
