On Day 728 of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Israeli forces intensified bombing and shelling across the devastated and besieged coastal enclave, killing at least 19 Palestinians and injuring dozens more.

Strikes targeted residential areas in Gaza City and Khan Younis, using drones, helicopters, and remote-controlled vehicles.

Emergency medical sources reported that six Palestinians, including three children, were killed, and others injured, in an Israeli strike targeting the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Another fatality and multiple injuries were confirmed in a separate strike on the Ansar area in the city’s west.

The Baptist Hospital in Gaza reported seven deaths and additional injuries from Israeli attacks on Gaza City since the morning hours.

In central Gaza, two Palestinians were killed, and several others injured, an an Israeli bombing of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Meanwhile, the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, confirmed three fatalities following a drone strike on a civilian vehicle in the al-Mawasi district, south of the Strip.

Artillery and naval bombardment continued across western Gaza, while armored units demolished homes in the Sabra district.

Politically, Hamas political bureau member Mohammad Nazzal said the group is reviewing a U.S. ceasefire proposal attributed to President Donald Trump, stressing that any response will be made independently and in consultation with regional mediators.

UNRWA warned of repeated mass displacement and severe shortages of food and water, renewing its call for a ceasefire and safe humanitarian access.

The Palestinian Health Ministry appealed for international surgical teams to assist overwhelmed hospitals in the north.

Israel has now killed at least 66,225 Palestinians and wounded more than 168,938—largely children, women, and the elderly—since October 7, 2023. Thousands remain missing, many buried under rubble, as famine conditions continue to worsen.
