On Sunday, January 5, 2025, Day 457 of its brutal and protracted military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military continued its genocidal bombing campaign in various regions, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians, including a journalist and a child.

    The writer and journalist, Mohammad Hijazi, was killed as a result of the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the northern Gaza Strip.

    Palestinian civil defense teams recovered one body following the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the Musbah area, north of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.

    Israeli warplanes bombed land in the vicinity of the bicycle market in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis.

    Local sources reported violent bombing of various areas of the Gaza governorate.

    An Israeli drone bombed Al-Shaboura camp in the center of Rafah.

    Israeli forces carried out an extensive bombing campaign in the Saftawi neighborhood of Gaza City, and residential buildings in Jabalia al-Nazla, both in the northern Gaza Strip.

    The Wafa News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation committed 5 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 88 citizens and the injury of 208 others, during the past 24 hours.

    Israeli occupation forces bombed the police station of Asdaa Entertainment City, northwest of Khan Younis, killing four citizens and wounding others.

    In addition, the soldiers targeted a group of citizens in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, which led to the martyrdom of two citizens and the injury of others.

    Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the village of Al-Masdar in central Gaza Strip; one citizen was killed and others were injured.

    Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a group of citizens near Al-Sayyid Ali Mosque in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and the Abu Aita junction in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

    4 Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured.

    Israel bombed a group of citizens in the Jabalia al-Balad area.

    A number of injuries arrived at Sheikh Radwan Clinic as a result of gunfire from Israeli quadcopter aircraft in the Saftawi area and at the end of the Al-Jalaa Street, northwest of Gaza City.

    Israeli artillery bombed the southern areas of Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

    Israeli warplanes bombed the house of the Abu Jarbou family in the Nuseirat camp, killing 5 citizens and wounding others.

    Israeli artillery also bombed the vicinity of the Mufti’s land and the Jabr building near the entrance to the camp, and warplanes also bombed the house of the Abu Amra family in Deir al-Balah.

    12 injuries, ranging from moderate to minor, arrived at Al-Awda Hospital, as a result of the Israeli occupation artillery and Quadcopter drones targeting a group of citizens who were waiting for aid trucks in Al-Nuseirat camp.

    Israeli forces killed three Palestinian citizens, including a child, at the Imad family’s house in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

    The killed were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. They are : Khaled Kamal Mohammed Imad al-Din (35 years old), the child, Osama Khaled Kamal Imad al-Din (5 years old), and a third whose identity is not known.

    The killings took place when Israeli forces targeted the home of Abu Alaa Imad, in Block 3 of Al-Bureij camp.

 

 

Medical sources announced, on Sunday, that since the beginning of the its military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military has killed 45,805 Palestinians, and injured at least 109,064.
