The Israeli military carried out a number of attacks on Saturday, targeting Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, killing four citizens including a photojournalist, bringing the day’s death toll to ten.
On Saturday evening, Israeli airstrikes killed four Palestinians and wounded others in the southern and central parts of the besieged Gaza Strip,
Media sources reported that one Palestinian was killed and others injured on Saturday evening, after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of citizens next to a fuel station in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, three Palestinians, including a photojournalist, were killed after occupation warplanes targeted a house in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The ARAB 48 News website reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the Al-Bureij camp, killing photojournalist Ahmad Samir Washah. He is the brother of the slain journalist Mohammad Washah who was assassinated by Israeli forces on April 8, 2026.
It quoted the Israeli army who admitted to killing three citizens, including photojournalist Ahmad Samir Mohammad Washah, alleging that they were members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas.
Meanwhile, Israeli Navy ships killed one Palestinian with live rounds after opening fire towards citizens traveling on the Al-Rashid coastal road, west of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip.
Occupation forces shot and injured a Palestinian young man in the Beit Lahia project, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
In the southern Gaza Strip, occupation forces opened fire towards areas northeast of Khan Younis and conducted a large-scale demolition operation in the same area.
Before dawn on Saturday, Israeli forces killed five Palestinians, including children after an airstrike targeted a residential building in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
In the afternoon, occupation soldiers also killed a Palestinian woman in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Health Ministry released the daily statistical report on Saturday morning, revealing that Israeli forces have killed 1,012 Palestinians in Gaza, and wounded 3,208 others since the so-called “ceasefire” between Israel and the resistance factions in Gaza, which came into effect on October 11, 2025.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 73,023 Palestinians and wounded 173,316 others.
