Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said that the ongoing Israeli violations in the devastated coastal enclave have killed six Palestinians and caused several injuries.

On Sunday evening, Israeli occupation army gunfire killed a 43-year-old Palestinian man in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, in light of a continuous escalation targeting residential neighborhoods and various areas of the Gaza Strip.

A child was also killed Sunday evening by Israeli occupation bullets, southeast of Gaza City, medical sources said.

They added that the child Muhammad Al-Sarhi (16 years old) was killed by occupation army bullets near Salahuddin Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood,

Local sources reported that occupation forces opened heavy fire on citizens’ homes and tents in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, killing Wael Salim Salmi (43 years old).

Another Palestinian civilian was wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in Zeitoun Sunday evening. Israeli military vehicles advanced in the vicinity of Siam Street and the Triangle area in the same neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israeli tanks also advanced towards the Siyam Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood, on Sunday afternoon.

The army also fired artillery shells at the western areas of the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the occupation warships opening fire in the sea of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a continued violation of the ceasefire, a Palestinian young man documents the moment of destruction as Israeli military vehicles open fire in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza, this morning.

A heartbreaking farewell of the Palestinian child Mohammed al-Sarhi, who was killed today by Israeli drone fire in Al Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Israeli Navi warships also opened fire toward the coast of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip. Once again, artillery shelling targets the western areas of Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

With the killing of Salmi, the death toll since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has risen to 581, the total number of injuries to 1,544, and 717 bodies have been recovered.

Medical teams received hundreds of frozen, numbered bodies showing injuries and signs of restraint. With no DNA testing available, families relied on clothing or birthmarks to identify loved ones. Doctors say freezing and decomposition prevent confirming whether organs were removed.

Families reported burns, gunshot wounds, and bound limbs, while Gaza officials called for an international investigation after over 100 mutilated bodies were returned during the ceasefire.

A Palestinian man returning to Gaza tonight through the Rafah crossing after two years of forced displacement speaks of an overwhelming yearning for home, describing the pain of displacement and separation endured by thousands of Palestinians.

He recounts registering with the embassy and repeatedly demanding to return, only to face closures as Israel’s siege tightened.

“We are ready to sacrifice for our homeland.” He delivers a message on behalf of those still stranded: “families torn apart, spouses separated across borders, children born without ever seeing their fathers, and hundreds of thousands waiting as only a handful of names are allowed to return”.

The Rafah land border crossing in the southern Gaza Strip was opened Sunday for the departure of patients and humanitarian cases and the return of those stranded from the Egyptian side.

Since its reopening last Monday, the Rafah crossing has witnessed the departure of 189 patients and companions, and the arrival of 88 stranded Palestinian citizens.
