In a new escalation, the Israeli military killed several Palestinians and injured many others on Sunday, in a series of airstrikes in Gaza City, Jabalia, Deir al-Balah, and Khan Younis.
Since dawn Sunday, at least seventeen Palestinians, including children, were killed in a series of attacks by Israeli forces across the besieged Gaza Strip.
Media sources reported that three Palestinians were killed, including a child, after an Israeli airstrike targeted the “Al-Sousi Tower” residential building in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Another airstrike targeted a residential building in the “Al-Masha’la area” of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians and wounding many others.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces bombed a residential apartment in the Al-Qarara area, northwest of Khan Younis, killing three citizens, including a child.
Another Palestinian was killed and several others were injured, including some critically, after an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of citizens in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Later, at least five Palestinians, including three children, sustained injuries after an Israeli drone strike targeted a shipping point west of Khan Younis, in the south.
Media sources reported that two Palestinians were killed, and several others were wounded after occupation forces bombed a civilian vehicle travelling on Salah al-Din Street in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
Including a child, two Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted a displacement tent on Al-Thawra Street in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.
Several Palestinians suffered injuries after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of citizens on Street 8 in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.
The ARAB 48 News website identified some of the slain Palestinians as Kamal Nabhan Abu Muailiq and his wife, Huda Khalid Abu Muailiq, Mahmoud Zaki Al-Hams, his wife, Fatima Bahloul, and their son, Ahmad Mahmoud Al-Hams, in addition to Abdullah Adnan Abu Al-Taif, his wife, Abeer Kamal Kazem Anan, and their son, Azzam Abdullah Abu Al-Taif.
The same source reported that four Palestinians were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted the “Al-Hayek” area, in Gaza City.
Medial sources at the Nasser Medical Complex reported that a Palestinian was injured after Israeli soldiers shot him with live rounds, south of Khan Younis.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli forces shot a child with live rounds in Jabalia al-Balad.
Since the so-called “ceasefire” which came into effect on on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have killed more than 1,230 Palestinians in Gaza, and wounded 4,076 others.
Since the beginning of Israel’s military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, at least 73,356 Palestinians have been killed and 174,185 have been wounded.
In a statement, the Islamic resistance movement – Hamas said “the criminal and frenzied Zionist bombing of the Gaza Strip since this morning, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 18 people and the wiping out of entire families from the civil registry, is a deliberate escalation pursued by the government of the war criminal Netanyahu.”
The movement added that “these brutal acts, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, call for official and legal action from the international community to hold the occupation leaders accountable and to take measures to protect our defenceless people, who still face the danger of genocide and displacement.”
