The High National Committee for the March of Return and Breaking the Siege in the Gaza Strip has announced that the border protests will resume next Friday, Days of Palestine reported.
In a meeting held on Monday, members of the National Committee discussed several important issues and affirmed in a statement released later, that the March of Return rallies would continue “with its popular character and peaceful tools.”
The statement described the March of Return as “one of the Palestinian struggle stations that would continue until the departure of the occupation.”
The Committee invited the Palestinian masses to actively participate in the border rallies next Friday, which will be held under the slogan “The march will continue.”
The weekly protests, which began in March of 2018, calls for lifting the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip and for the return of the Palestinian refugees to their ancestral homes in pre-1948 Palestine, which is now the state of Israel.
