On Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished a citizen’s home in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, amid the ongoing large-scale incursion into the city for the second consecutive day.
Media sources reported that the occupation army continued its ongoing military incursion against the city of Hebron since Monday, and demolished a citizen’s home in the southern part of the city.
Farid Barqan, the head of the Birin village council, told the WAFA News Agency that occupation forces demolished a citizen’s home in the southern part of Hebron city.
Barqan stated that “The occupation forces, which have tightened their military control over the southern area of the city, demolished a house with an area of 250 square meters, in Khirbet al-Aida in the southern area, which belongs to the citizen Karama Jaber, and forced its 10 residents to leave it, without being able to take their necessary belongings.”
Media sources reported that Israeli forces continue to send military reinforcements to the southern areas of Hebron city, escalating their siege of the city.
Over the past two days, the army has carried out a large-scale attack against Hebron city, targeting infrastructure and citizens’ property.
Israeli forces continue to obstruct the movement of residents, in addition to detaining dozens of citizens and subjecting them to interrogation.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted a number of Palestinians while continuing to besiege the Old City and the southern area of the city, escalating their military measures.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews treated two citizens who suffered injuries after occupation forces assaulted them in Jabal Jawhar.
In related news, Israeli forces demolished 8 agricultural sheds near the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources reported that the army invaded Khirbet al-Tawil, near Aqraba town, accompanied by bulldozers on Tuesday morning, and demolished eight agricultural structures belonging to the brothers Musa Rihan and Youssef.
The citizen, Musa Rihan told WAFA that occupation forces tore down eight livestock barns, adding that this is the seventh time the occupation authorities have demolished their farm since October 7, 2023, under the pretext of building in “Area C”.
