On Thursday, Israeli soldiers injured two Palestinians, including a child, in the Al-Isawiya town, northeast of Jerusalem, and Silwan, south of the occupied capital, in the West Bank.
Media sources reported that the soldiers invaded Al-Isawiya at night, storming homes, ransacking them, and occupying rooftops to use as firing posts and monitoring towers.
They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, wounding a 13-year-old child, Mais Mahmoud, in her leg while she was standing on the balcony of her family’s home.
In Silwan town, the soldiers assaulted a young man, Ala’ Somrain, causing various cuts and bruises before abducting him. Somrain was later released and moved to a Palestinian hospital in Jerusalem, suffering from cuts and bruises.
In related news, the army invaded Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades in the Al-Bawwaba area at the entrance of the town, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
