A Palestinian infant suffered from tear gas inhalation on Sunday evening due to tear gas bombs fired by Israeli forces at the entrance of Jenin refugee camp, located in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transported the three-month-old infant to the hospital after suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
The infant was injured during the ongoing Israeli invasions of Jenin, Jenin refugee camp, and surrounding areas, villages, and towns in the governorate.
The Israeli army withdrew from the Ar-Rabea’ building in the vicinity of Jenin refugee camp, leaving significant damage to the residential apartments and repositioning in several areas of the Al-Jabriyyat neighborhood.
The Israeli military offensive in Jenin and its camp has continued for the 41st consecutive day, resulting in the deaths of 27 citizens, numerous injuries and arrests, forced displacement of residents, and systematic destruction of infrastructure and homes, affecting around 120 homes completely and dozens partially.
On Sunday evening, several armored Israeli military vehicles, including two bulldozers, invaded the eastern area of Nablus city and closed several streets to accompany illegal colonizers into Joseph’s Tomb area.
In related news, the army invaded Turmus Ayya town, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and closed several streets.
