On Tuesday morning, an Israeli drone strike assassinated five Palestinian young men and injured six others during a military incursion into the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that the young man, Ahmad Husamuddin Kamel Sa’adi, 18, was one of those killed when an armed Israeli drone fired a missile at a vehicle in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city.

According to Wissam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, local residents brought body parts of four slain men to the hospital, after the army blocked ambulance crews from reaching the site of the bombing.

Bakr has confirmed that the five slain Palestinians were identified as Omar Ali Mahmoud Abu Obeid, 24, from Jenin, Saifuddin Ali Mahmoud Abu Obeid, 26, from Jenin, Ahmad Husamuddin Kamel Sa’adi, 18, from Jenin, Khattab Amjad Ahmad Obeidi, 21, and Ayham Samir Abdul-Latif Zakarna, 22, and stated that at least six Palestinians were injured by live fire and shrapnel from live rounds.

Bakr added that the at least six others arrived at the hospital suffering from live gunshot wounds or shrapnel wounds, during the armed exchange between Palestinian resistance fighters and the army during a military incursion.

An eyewitness said that the group of young men were sitting near his house and were not involved in any of the confrontations, adding that they were directly targeted with a missile.

In the same context, on Monday evening, the occupation army invaded Jenin city, accompanied by bulldozers, and caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure in the city and its camp, amid the flight of reconnaissance drones.

Occupation forces targeted electrical transformers causing a power outage in large areas of the city and its camp.

In related news, on Monday night and Tuesday dawn, four Palestinians, including a child, who were killed by Israeli soldiers, while at least ten others sustained injuries during a military incursion into Aqaba town, and Tubas city, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
