Israeli media reported, on Tuesday, according to the PNN, that security forces have detained a Palestinian for allegedly plotting to assassinate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
The Shin Bet Israel security agency additionally claims to have detained a cell of three persons from Shu’fat refugee camp, in northern Jerusalem, which was planning to target Netanyahu and Barkat, in Jerusalem, and buildings belonging to the US consulate.
No further details were given, at the time of this report.
